Terms of Service

The agreement between you and EdxAI.

This is a draft. These terms are being finalized with legal counsel before public launch; the wording may change, but the facts below are accurate.

Who we are

EdxAI is operated by Van Tech Systems LLC, a limited liability company formed in Florida, USA(“EdxAI”, “we”, “us”). EdxAI is an independent AI study assistant and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any courseware publisher. By using EdxAI you agree to these terms.

The service

EdxAI is a study aid, delivered as a browser extension and website, that helps you understand a problem by showing an answer, the work, and an explanation. It is intended to help you learn — not to do your coursework for you. EdxAI can be wrong: its output may be incomplete or incorrect, and we make no guarantee that any answer is right. You are responsible for checking the work and for anything you choose to submit.

Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to use EdxAI. By using the service you represent that you meet this requirement.

Acceptable use

Your use of EdxAI is subject to our Acceptable Use & Academic Integrity policy. In short, EdxAI is a tool for understanding your coursework, and you are responsible for following your school’s academic-integrity rules. EdxAI never fills in or submits answers for you.

Credits, billing, and cancellation

Access to EdxAI is metered in credits. Credits — whether included with a subscription or bought as a one-time pack — are used to access the service and have no cash value.

Payments are processed by Stripe; EdxAI never sees your card details. Paid subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are governed by our Refund policy.

Disclaimer of warranties

EdxAI is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its output will be accurate or suitable for any particular assignment.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EdxAI and Van Tech Systems LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, grades, academic standing, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim arose.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update this page, and your continued use of EdxAI after the changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
